Our Top Four Instagram Color Schemes and how to get that look!
There's a lot to be said for the use of colour when it comes to designing your little ones room. From bright contrasting tones to more neutrals hues, the options are boundless (and often overwhelming!) So, to help you navigate this journey, we've found four of our favourite colour schemes on Instagram and have narrowed in on what it is about these spaces that we love most, and how you can work to achieve something similar in your own home!
PRETTY IN PASTELS
If you love color but don't want anything too bright, the use of pastels is a fantastic way to go! We love @velveteen_babies because she uses the most splendid ice-cream inspired palette to showcase her home, along with her hand-made garlands. Utilising soft pinks, blues, greens and yellows is always a sure-fire way to achieve something spectacular! Creating any girls dream, we suggest using some coloured wicker goods to help add a little variance to your tones, as well as texture. Needless to say we couldn't make a blog like this without talking about bedrooms that are brimming with bright, boundless colours! For this we turn to the queen of colour herself, Dominy from @bowinthesky. Featuring an instagram page that bursts with brilliant hues, we love her use of complimentary shades and colour-blocking items. Adding solid blocks of colour to a room is always a great way to make an impression. By dotting other items around the room of a similar shade you can ensure that no matter how bright and beautiful, the room is neatly tied together with a sense of continuity.
