Social Media, Content & Marketing Associate

At Is To Me we offer a stunning array of uniquely Scandinavian goods, from toys, lighting, small furniture items and so much more And through the power of our social media and influencer marketing we want to be the go-to brand for all things Scandinavian to essentially become a much-loved household name.

Looking after all our Stories, you'll play a starring role in making sure every man and his dog has heard of Is To Me! You'll be responsible for delivering the most inspiring and creative social media and influencer strategies, video content and copy. And you'll support the business owners in smashing social media coverage in our various platforms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social and Content

  • Create an obsessive social media community of Is To Me lovers to drive brand loyalty and extend our reach across our platforms. Video content is set to play a big role, so we're looking for an ideas-person to bring their social creative flair to the table and lead on idea generation and content execution
  • Develop Is To Me's social media strategy, including the planning and execution of content across all of Is To Me's social channels
  • Bring your creative flair to the forefront by exploring and producing innovative and thumb-stopping ways to develop Is To Me's social media presence, with a large focus on video content creation
  • Adopt the Is To Me lexicon to produce engaging, brand-affirming copy
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of social trends, innovations, and platform changes
  • Support our Customer Acquisition team with social ad creation
  • Lead on third-party brand partnerships and competition activation
  • Monitor performance and success of content through monthly reporting and present these findings to the wider team, utilising learnings for campaigns and initiatives

Influencer campaigns

  • Shape our influencer marketing strategy, ensuring that we're working with the best brand ambassadors and creators to deliver innovative campaigns which drive brand awareness, affinity and consideration
  • Identify brand-appropriate content creators who will showcase our Is To Me wares in style, ensuring key criteria are met for every campaign
  • Negotiate deliverables, fees and contracts with influencers and agents, ensuring relationships are built and nurtured
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of campaigns and influencer performance to shape future campaigns and activity
  • Keep informed with influencer trends and news to ensure that we're staying relevant and working with creators on the most impactful campaigns

Website & Other Duties

  • Provide day-to-day support to the business owners and wide team in the smooth running of the office, ensuring we spread the word of Is To Me to our media friends and maximise coverage of our lovely products in target print and online publications
  • Respond reactively to image/info requests from press contacts, providing timely and accurate info
  • Help create buzz for new product launches by wowing our social media pals with fun and inventive activations, such as gift drops
  • Swot up on the media landscape and our target group media contacts, staying in the know on how they like to work and what they're talking about
  • Use your mastery of words to compile compelling and creative social media and draft quotes on behalf of Is To Me representatives
  • Editing images, updating products on our website, we may also ask you to jump into other business areas as required, don’t worry we will provide full training
  • Manage image file uploads and ensure these are up to date

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working in-house or agency side growing/developing a brand's social strategy and/or working in an influencer marketing role
  • Experience in delivering outstanding social content and video/reel production
  • A creative thinker with a flair for writing copy and an ear of for a great turn of phrase
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a natural ability to connect with people at all levels
  • Accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Demonstrate initiative and be proactive in day-to-day tasks
  • A real can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck in and make great things happen
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A passion for Is To Me
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Creative Suite, Shopify and other apps associated with the day-to-day activity of the store/site.

Customer Service Associate

Part Time: Thursday & Friday

We're on the mission to find a bright and passionate person who will help us deliver a knock-out service to our customers and make us their number one choice!

Joining our small customer service team, you'll help us in delivering brilliant customer experience from initial contact right through to the solution of all customer enquiries, you will be supporting our small customer service team in answering questions, providing advice and support. You'll support the business and handle customer enquiries by phone, live chat, email and via social media. You'll be an expert of the products Is To me retails with great product knowledge, so we can answer our customer queries with passion and confidence, and you'll always be on the look-out for opportunities to go the extra mile, so our customers experience a top-notch service like nothing they've ever felt before.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a top-notch customer experience you'll:
  • Respond to email tickets and live chats, answering customer queries brilliantly and efficiently. Be passionate about achieving our business goals and meeting customer expectations
  • Be super alert to when our phones ring, helping us to answer customer calls within just a few seconds
  • Maintain the Is To Me image to the highest standard by priding yourself on great, spelling and grammar across the team's email replies
  • Speak and write about our products and brand with confidence and passion, help them master knowledge of our Is To Me wares and develop their ability to recall unique selling points.
  • Aid our customers with their decision-making, provide honest opinions and advice, you will to use active listening and personalised questions to get to know their customers
  • Look for opportunities to encourage and suggest additional products to complement the choices our customers make so their homes become true havens of all things Scandinavian.
  • Champion our customer's best interests, pop yourself in their shoes in every instance and understand their needs so you can best fulfil this. And keep an ear out for opportunities to surprise and delight.
  • Pioneer change so we maximise on opportunities to improve our customer experience.
  • Go the extra mile for our customers, anticipating their next question before they've even asked it and go above and beyond whenever there is an opportunity to do so
  • Ensure we leave detailed notes against our customer's orders so our colleagues can easily work out what is happening if they need to speak to the same customer
  • In the event any of our customers are unhappy, take pride in turning the situation round for them.
  • Keenly review our KPI's, understand what's working and take action to improve performance where necessary, produce reports and commentary which reflect on our performance.

  • Build a great rapport with our small team who will support you in getting the things done that will enable you to deliver a top customer experience. Work within others areas of the business, performing administrative duties in support of the wider business.

Skills and Attributes:

Essential:

  • Proven previous experience working within a customer-facing role
  • Top-notch communication skills - both verbal and written - with a high attention to detail and a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation and syntax
  • A great listener with emotional intelligence and a natural ability to connect with people of all walks of life
  • Highly motivated, not settling for anything but the best
  • A quick learner with bundles of common sense, we will give you all the training you need to excel in your role
  • Super organised with an ability to stay calm when the pressure dials up a bit
  • The ability to work independently, show initiative and be accountable
  • You will be very fussy about attention to detail and organisation
  • A great team player with the ability to help build a positive work environment
  • Flexible and adaptable with the availability to work shifts and muck in when needed
  • An all-round good egg who brings good vibes and energy to work each and every day

Desirable:

  • Previous customer service experience, including working with customers, suppliers and collaborators
  • A creative type
  • The ability to identify areas for improvement and convey these effectively and positively to the team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Shopify and various social media platforms
